Owned and operated by Diego Martin, who also successfully run the beloved Los Molcajetes Bar and Grill in Santa Rosa along his uncle Zacarias, El Torito Supermarket stands as a proud continuation of a family tradition rooted in quality, community, and hard work.
The story of El Torito Supermarket begins with the late Roberto Martin, a visionary who saw an opportunity to serve his community with the finest meats and international produce. In the early 1990s, Roberto opened Los 3 Toritos in Sonoma and in 2004 Carniceria Mendoza, a small but thriving meat market on Piner Rd., specializing in quality meats and a diverse range of international products. His dedication and passion laid the foundation for what would become a family legacy.
Diego, inspired by his father’s, carried forward this vision with unwavering commitment. Their resilience and strong work ethic have been the driving forces behind their success. With the opening of El Torito Supermarket, they have not only expanded their offerings but have also evolved to meet the growing needs of their community. This new venture reflects their deep-rooted commitment to providing quality products and exceptional service to the people of Santa Rosa.
